H.S.S.P FIRE PROTECTION IS EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THE PURCHASE OF A TRUCK TO REPLACE OLD 285 IN THE PARSHALL STATION.
End of Year Appreciation and award dinner was held at The Deans Public house on December 20th.
CONGRATULATIONS to Firefighter Wood for being presented with the Fire Fighter of the Year award by the Officer Group. He quite simply, kicked butt on everything in 2019. Strong work and well deserved Wood!
Congratulations to Lieutenant Russell for being presented with the Chiefs Award by Chief Baumgarten. Thank you for all the hours, dedication and strong work ethic.
This year, we will put out a survey to our district. We will have the link here soon for you all. It is part of our strategic planning session in 2020. We will also have our crew fill out surveys to see how they are feeling about the progress or lack of in the department. Our goal is to be the best department we can for all of you.

Fire Wise: This new year brings a great new program to our district. We will be offering classes and doing free inspections of your home and property to help you make your home fire wise. Wildland fires are only going to continue and grow in intensity in the coming years. Our program in conjunction with The Grand County Wildfire Council, will help you help us save your homes. Stay tuned for that
Last Years accomplishments:
The water tank project was completed. The tank located in the Copper Creek area is now there for filling apparatus in case of a fire. A big Thank You to our Chief for the tireless work he put in to get it completed. Another big Thank you to the board, for their commitment to the project got it done. Thank you Joe Vrbas, Rod Sale, Rob Firth, George Davis and Mike Thompson.
