The Board of Directors are made up of community members (also volunteers), who are appointed and elected by the taxpayers of the district. They are responsible to the taxpayers to run the business end of the department. They plan for the future and set long term goals, and work to achieve them. They are responsible to the department to hire the Fire Chief and make sure the department is adequately funded, (whether by taxes, grants or other sources), and to ensure the long term viability of the District.

*Rob Firth , Marco DeAndrea and Merdith Howe were appointed due to vacancies. The Director appointed to fill a vacancy shall serve until the next regular election (May 2020), at which time the vacancy shall be filled by election for the remainder, if any, of the originally vacated term. §32-1-905(2)(a), C.R.S.
**Director Davis's seat will be up for election and he may re-run May 2020 for a final term.
